A Toothbrush That Changes The World

http://www.smilesforthepeople.com/

Let me introduce you to a new product that will change the world. It is a toothbrush. Not only is it a top quality product, but it will provide the equivalent of one toothbrush to a person in need. When you brush your teeth each morning you will change the world. When you smile and flash your beautiful healthy teeth, you will be sharing that smile with a person in need somewhere in the world. You can make a difference to the health of another person when you purchase your next toothbrush from Smiles for the People.

They are made from bamboo and are biodegradable so they won’t hurt future generations. According to Smiles for the People almost 50 million pounds of plastic toothbrushes are discarded into landfills every year.

The mission at Smiles for the People is to give their customers the highest quality and most environmentally responsible dental supplies while helping to improve the oral health of people who can’t access or afford a dentist.

This is how it works, for every toothbrush they sell, they give money toward their Giving Partners to provide what they feel is needed to improve the oral health of their patients. They might buy supplies, run a training program, facilitate community outreach and education or even donate toothbrushes. They give exactly what is needed to help improve the oral health of people in need throughout the world. They promise you that for every toothbrush you purchase from them, they will give the equivalent of one toothbrush to someone in need.

Smiles for the People have a vision that you are invited to be a part of. In the next 12 months they want to donate the equivalent of 15,000 toothbrushes to people in need. You can be a part of this vision by purchasing your toothbrush today!

The cost of this quality toothbrush that takes care of others and the planet is only $5.95. You can also sign up to get one year of toothbrushes for a subscription and a new toothbrush will be mailed to you every 3 months. If you sign up for this option you pay only $5.15 every 3 month. Dentists recommend changing your toothbrush on this time interval so you won’t need to remember you can just discard the old toothbrush when the new one arrives. What ever method you choice you will be helping others receive better health by providing them with life saving oral health.

Ideas For The Future Of Dogoodeveryday365.com

I have been thinking about where to go with Dogoodeveryday365.com and have an idea and would LOVE some imput. I get a number of requests to write from business that are Doing Good on my website. I was thinking about cutting down on the gift baskets and adding other products in my store that you can buy directly from Dogoodeveryday365.com that are also changing the world. Instead of going site to site you could find products that are invited and approved by Dogoodeveryday365 to sell their products. It would be like a “mall” for doing good in all different ways. I could even add fund raisers in the future for school, causes etc. This is only a thought at this point but looking for input and ideas. Please email me at Dogoodeveryday365@gmail.com with your thoughts and ideas. I could feature each product in the blog section.

Let Celebrate 365 Different Ways To Change The World

Dear Do-gooders:

I can’t believe an entire year has passed. A year ago I made a resolution to come up with 365 different ways to change the world in an easy and cost effective way. Yesterday I posted my 365th post. YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! This year brought me down a road that forever changed the way I see things. Now I think about the purchases that I make differently. Now when I am waiting in a waiting room or in line, I use my time to click using my smartphone to donate. Now when I am cleaning out my house, I look at the things I don’t want or need anymore and wonder who can use them. Now I know that I can easily sign a petition that tells my government what I feel is the right thing to do. Now I know I can change the world in a minute and I hope you know that too!!

I urge everyone to think about a New Year’s Resolution that gives back. I hope that if you followed my blog you saw that it is so easy to make giving a part of our everyday lives. In most cases it was free and quick. I tried to find activates that were free and quick because I know how busy life is. I know that it is so easy to just let our lives take over and follow the road that is laid before us. I started doing that, but at night when I went to bed, I felt like I was missing the point. I did all things that I needed to do, but it wasn’t the things I wanted to do. I wanted to make the world a better place and reach beyond my day, but I felt I had no time to do that. I made a commitment a year ago to find activities that I could do that make the world a better place without stretching my already stretched pocketbook.

During this year I have met and heard from so many people. I want to thank everyone for your support and encouragement. I have received so many emails from people that I have never met. I want to thank everyone who visited my website and my Facebook page as well as read my stories on the channel 2 blog. I want to thank my family, especially my husband Norm, who for a year gave me the time to research and write for my website so that I could share it with you. My family gave me the room to do what I needed to do and I can’t say thank them enough. I want to thank Eva for setting up my website, because it was no easy job. You are a great lady and it looks beautiful. I want to thank my sister in law Linda for buying bracelets when I first started so you could pass them out and share with her friends and all the encouragement you gave me along the way. I want to thank my friend Jamie for sending me ideas often to help me find things to write about. I want to thank Patrick Klinck for allowing me to share my blog on the Channel 2 News Website and often sharing my stories on the news. I want to thank everyone who encouraged and supported me along the day.

What’s next for Dogoodeveryday365.com? I won’t be writing on a daily basis, but I will be writing when I find new things to share with you. I am planning on finding a story a week unless something comes to my attention more often. I want Dogoodeveryday365.com to find other ways to make the world better so I am on the lookout for ways to do that. Dogoodeveryday365.com has become a part of my heart and I want it to grow and continue and now that I will be freeing up some time by not writing every day, I will be looking at a way to do that. I am open to any ideas so feel free to write to me at Dogoodeveryday365@gmail.com.
Thanks all of you for reading and participating in the many activities that have been on Dogoodeveryday365.com. We have changed the world and will continue to do so.
Lynn

Day 365: Sign A Petition to Stop Cuts That Help People With Mental Health

Each day I will write about something that a person can do to help others. I want to prove that we can help others and our world without having a lot of money or time. I feel strongly that we all have something that we can offer. The things that I write about will usually not take up much time or require large donations.

Day 365:

Action: Sign A Petition to Help STOP cuts to Mental Health
Time Needed: 2 Minutes
Requirements: The Internet
Cost: Nothing

http://capwiz.com/nami/issues/alert/?alertid=62243616&PROCESS=Take+Action

Our nation is now looking at making drastic funding cuts to mental health services and research that can help people that live with mental illness. You can tell our senators and representatives to stop these cuts to children and adults that are living with mental illness. When you fill in your information to send your request, the website will use that information to send it to the correct people that represent your area. Especially now, we need to speak up so that people with mental illness can get the help they need. You can use the power of the internet to speak loud and clear!!!!
